What is VR Physiotherapy
Virtual Reality (VR) is an innovative tool that our trained and certified physiotherapist can use to enhance your recovery from injury. A head-mounted display is worn over your eyes, allowing you to play customized therapeutic games in a 3D immersive environment during a 1-on-1 physiotherapy appointment.
Benefits of VR Rehab
The evidence shows that VR physiotherapy is an effective exercise therapy tool in treating various conditions including neck pain, neurological conditions, and other joint and muscle injuries. VR “gamifies” traditional rehab, making it more fun and engaging, while also tracking progress accurately. You can also perform VR rehab at home!

Benjamin Mastar MPT, BKin
Ben earned his Bachelor of Kinesiology followed by Master of Physical Therapy from the University of British Columbia. Ben has years of experience treating complex injuries, utilizing a mix of hands-on manual therapy, dry needling, and custom exercise programs.
Ben is passionate about modernizing the field of physiotherapy in a valuable way and is the first physiotherapist trained and certified to use VR in Canada.
